Rotate PDF pages
Turn pages that were scanned or photographed the wrong way up, and save the rotation into the file so it stays that way for everyone who opens it afterwards.

How to rotate PDF pages
- 1Choose the PDF.
- 2Select the pages to turn, or take the whole document.
- 3Rotate a quarter at a time until they are upright, then download.
Worth knowing
- The file never leaves your computer. Every one of these tools runs inside your browser. Nothing is uploaded, so there is no copy on a server, nothing to delete afterwards and no queue of other people’s documents next to yours.
- This saves the rotation, unlike your reader. Turning a page in Preview or a browser only changes how you are looking at it. This writes the rotation into the document, so the person you send it to sees it the right way up too.
- Mixed orientations are fine. You can rotate individual pages by different amounts — useful for a scan where one page went through the feeder sideways.
- Nothing is re-rendered. The rotation is a property of the page, so there is no quality loss and no change in file size.
